...snip...snip...snip...
This is the sound that strikes terror into the hearts of mothers around the world. OK, maybe not terror, but it's not good. I was coming down the stairs after putting away laundry when I heard that horrible sound, and there sat Karina just snipping away at her hair as casual as could be! I couldn't even speak when I saw her. I was actually mute for 5 or 10 seconds before blurting out in a very high voice, "What are you doing?!?!?"
I later asked her why she cut her hair and her response was "I don't know." I really think she doesn't. The very next morning we took a trip to visit our hairdresser, Brooke. She and Karina made a deal...no more self hair cuts in exchange for a purple Barbie ring with grape lip balm and Brooke was kind enough to give Karina these fabulous curls!

Where are the before the fix up pictures? This is a reality that I am scaired to death of. I pray and hope Emma leaves her hair (and that of her siblings) alone. We have had the talk already about who cuts hair (Jodi) and why we don't. When I started reading this post...I felt my heart skipping a beat....I feel for you. I would have been mute for 5-10 seconds also! She looks very cute with her curls though:)
Her hair looks cute! At least it was long enough for her to have shoulder length hair. Hannah decide to take the chunks right out of top about 1 inch from her scalp. :P Oh well. Love ya Stacie
Nice save! Karina looks just as cute as ever!
Karina is a beauty no matter what! This just proves it! I have to say, I love the haircut!
Love,
Maria
I have to say it could've been much worse and if you didn't show me, I never would've known. She did a good job of hiding it! (Brooke, that is) WE LOVE BROOKE!
I couldn't bring myself to do before pics! There's one chunk that you can't see where it's cut about 1/2 inch from her scalp, it's right abover her right ear, but under another layer of hair, so as long as we don't pull it back, you can't tell!
I'm sure you weren't happy but she looks so sweet!
