Farmer for a Day

Karina got to be a farmer for a day at our local 4-H Fair.
First, she got to dig the potatoes.

Then she had to gather the eggs.

Finally, she got to milk the cow.

OK, this has nothing to do with that exhibit, but I just love this picture!

Aidan LOVED the animals at the fair and made sure to "talk" to each animal in their language. I know it's strange, but every animal "talked" back (except the bunnies.) I didn't get any pictures of him with the animals because my camera has started having an opinion on when it should work and when it shouldn't...

Okay post again, like a ton! Those are some cute pictures. It looks like you guys are having tons of fun. A favorite activity at my kids grandma is collecting eggs too. They think it is cool. Sillies. Love you Stacie

Hey...where was the local 4H fair? I never hear about these things. Do you have to be involved in it to go? Just curious. Cute pictures...where's Aiden in all of them?:)

I Love the fair. We still have the two around here coming up. Thanks for reminding me to check about those dates! Looks like Karina enjoyed being a farmer for a day.

Becky,
It's at the Belmont end of Mile Hill Road. You don't have to be involved to go--it's $6 each (my kids were both free, but I don't remember the age limit for that.)
I'll have to give you a heads up next year :)

As for Aidan, my camera is starting to get selective about when it works and when we were with the animals (his favorite part), it didn't want to work! You can see his blue jean shorts and gray t-shirt in one of the pics, though!

It looks like Karina had a fun time. Those are such cute pictures of you girl! She is a sweetheart. Oh by the way Blueberries for sal is one of my favorite book to. We bought that book when we were vacationing in Maine a Acadia National Park. AHHHHH such memories!

Karina is so cute! She looks like she was having a blast. My Mom and Dad used to take Tyler to that as a yearly tradition. I love that last pic of Karina! Too adorable for words!
Love,
Maria
