Our computer is up and running! Malcolm says he has been having Internet withdrawal and is very glad to be online again thanks to our friend Ryan coming over to do some creative wiring. Our move has been an adventure. Thank you to Brian and Brian who helped us move. About half an hour into the move, Aidan got Diarrhea that lasted for 2 days, then, at 4:00AM on our first night here, Karina woke up vomiting and continued almost every hour until 2:00PM, when I realized I had ginger root in the house and I made her some ginger "tea." She was still throwing up once a day until Wednesday when she broke out in HUGE hives EVERYWHERE and had to be taken to the ER for an epinephrine shot, some prednisone, and good old benadryl.
Now the first thing they ask when you have an allergic reaction to something is, "Is there anything NEW???"
And of course, the answer to that is EVERYTHING. We have been getting rid of anything new that isn't part of the house--pillows, wallflower, sheets-- and praying that she's not allergic to our carpets, especially since our old apartment is already spoken for! Her hives have improved quite a bit, but she's on the max amount of prelone (prednisone for kids) for her weight for 5 days and round the clock benadryl to keep them at bay.
Our house??? Still pretty packed. I'm going to try to find my camera tonight, so hopefully I can post some pics next week and give an update on Karina's mystery allergy!

Wow! Eventful week, huh??! Sorry that all happened, I hope she's better. I'm just down here, throwing in a quick load, and then upstairs to continue cleaning. If I don't talk with you, I'll see you at the ward bbq...
